Practitioner Boundaries
& Ethics Statement

To support a safe, professional, and sacred healing container, I uphold the following boundaries and ethical guidelines:

Contact & Communication

  • You are welcome to contact me via email at amanda@feelittohealit.life for session inquiries, rescheduling, or follow-up reflections.

  • For time-sensitive matters, you may message me via WhatsApp at +351 911 941 600.

  • I aim to respond within 24–48 hours on weekdays. I do not check messages on weekends or holidays.

  • I will only read and respond to messages during working hours. There is no availability at night or on weekends.

Professional Ethics

  • I am a Certified Sexological Intimacy Coach (CSI) trained at the Institute of Relational Harmony Studies, and currently in training as a Certified Sexological Bodyworker (CSB).

  • I commit to the Code of Ethics of The Association of Sexological Bodyworkers (ACSB) and take regular supervision sessions.

  • I adhere to trauma-informed, bodymind-centered ethical principles, which include:

    • Respect for client autonomy, boundaries, and consent at all times.

    • Confidentiality and privacy regarding your personal information and session content.

    • A commitment to ongoing professional development and supervision.

    • Non-pathologizing, client-led support rooted in compassion and integrity.

  • I will never engage in sexual, romantic, or exploitative conduct with clients.

  • I will not coach, hold space, or engage in client-practitioner dynamics at events where I am a participant.

Session Guidelines

  • During our sessions, you are expected to be in a private, quiet space (not driving or in public spaces).

  • For the safety and integrity of the work, no alcohol or recreational drug use is permitted before or during sessions.

  • If you arrive under the influence, the session will be cancelled and considered a late cancellation.

Session Fees & Payment

  • Sessions are typically 90 minutes.

  • Payments can be made via bank transfer, stripe or cash (for in-person sessions). If paying by cash, a €30 deposit is required to hold your spot. This amount will be deducted from your session fee.

  • Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • I require at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a session.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours will be charged at the full session rate.

  • In case of emergency or unforeseen circumstances, please reach out to discuss options.

Shared Communities & Confidentiality

My professional and personal life intersects with overlapping communities, including:

  • Conscious Sexuality and Tantra Events

Because of these overlaps:

  • There is an increased likelihood that I may encounter clients in shared community spaces.

  • This can raise ethical concerns, which I take seriously when choosing which events I attend and which clients I work with.

  • Confidentiality is paramount: anything shared in a session or workshop remains strictly confidential, unless there is explicit client permission to share.

If we meet in community spaces outside of session work:

  • We may co-create an agreement about how to interact.

  • If no agreement is made, I may use a subtle gesture to acknowledge you, and will take your lead on further interaction.

  • I will not disclose the nature of our professional relationship.

  • Even if you choose to disclose our work together, I will always maintain confidentiality.

  • I will never “out” anyone’s sexuality, kink, relationship style, identity, or community involvement.

Writing & Social Media

  • Writing:

    • As a writer, I hold a deep responsibility to protect the confidentiality of my clients. I am mindful that even subtle details could cause someone to feel “seen” or exposed in my words, which could create harm. For this reason, I never use client stories in my writing, not even anonymized, and I don’t write directly about the therapeutic process with individuals. My writing is rooted in my own lived experience, study, and collective themes, never in your private story.

  • Social Media:

    • I use social media to share educational content, personal reflections, and information about my offerings.

    • I will never disclose client identities, session content, or any information that could link back to a client.

    • Client engagement with my social media is entirely optional. Following, liking, commenting, or sharing my posts will never influence the client–practitioner relationship.

    • For privacy, I do not initiate friend requests or follows with clients on personal social media accounts. Professional boundaries apply in digital spaces just as in person.

    • For privacy, I don’t add clients to personal accounts, and I don’t use direct messages for confidential matters please always reach out by email or WhatsApp for session-related communication.

    • I will never share screenshots, messages, or identifiable online interactions with clients unless otherwise agreed.

Types of Relationships

Professional boundaries are essential to protect both clients and practitioners.

  • Clients: I do not date or engage in intimate or romantic relationships with clients.

  • Potential Clients:

    • Excluded: family of origin, family of choice or current partners.

    • With friends or acquaintances, professional work will only be considered after open dialogue about the power dynamics involved.

  • Clients: No romantic or sexual activity is permitted inside or outside the professional context. Agreements will be made about how to navigate shared events.

  • Ex-Clients: Romantic/sexual involvement is only considered after 12 months, and will be discussed in supervision with peer support.

Working With Me

If you would like to work with me and have questions about anything in this statement, or anything not mentioned here, I encourage you to reach out.

Regardless of whether we share community spaces or not, my aim is to support people in a safe, ethical, and considered way. Transparency and honest communication are vital.

Through open dialogue, vulnerability, and kindness, we can build trust. With trust, we can explore areas that may have previously felt out of reach.

Everyone is welcome, regardless of gender, sexuality, relationship style, or experience.
